Lana Manis: Simple Joys

It doesn’t take much to make me happy.

Give me a rose bush
And I’ll be mesmerized by the raindrops ~

Used, perhaps, by the dragonflies as gazing balls…

Give me a hydrangea bloom
I’ll watch with wonder as dewdrops congregate for a meeting ~
With each petal so completely covered that there is standing room only…

Give me a red clover leaf
And I’ll marvel at how long the moisture hangs on the leaves ~
Nourishing the fuzzy surface and then softly rolling off to water the ground…

Give me a cabbage head
Yes, a cabbage head ~

And I’ll be happy and grateful for even the simplest of joys…

These are stunning photos. I'm also often found to be mesmerized by drops of water on plants as well. I am a water baby and absolutely adore the beach, the river, a lake, swimming pools, and just about any other body of water I can get near. So, it's no surprise that these tiny pools also draw me to them. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one! :)
